NEW Form: Notice of Change to Sellers Internet Display Options
Did you know that a new form has been posted on the NTREIS Forms & Documents page on NTREIS.net and on www.arbori.com\forms.htm ?
The May 27th publish (update) will include four new fields that will allow the listing agent/broker to enter their seller's internet display preferences. NTREIS has created an addendum to the Listing Input form that provides the seller with the option to limit internet display of his/her property listing.
When adding a new listing, the selection options look like this (in the agent info section)

For each option, the MLS will automatically default to "yes" unless otherwise noted in the form. The new addendum includes a place for the seller to check yes or no to the following questions:
1. Allow Internet Display?
2. Allow Address Display?
3. Allow Public Comments/Reviews?
4. Allow AVM?
The form also includes a detailed explanation of each option. Please note that if the first option (Allow Internet Display) is set to no, then the other three fields will automatically default to no and cannot be overridden. If "Allow Internet Display" is set to no, then it will also override whatever is selected by the broker in the "Office Participation" section of "My Page."
This change comes from the settlement between the US Dept. of Justice (DOJ) and the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) and has prompted NTREIS to make some changes to the listing input function.
This means that if a seller opts out of having their listing displayed on VOWs, the listing cannot be displayed on IDX sites, third-party aggregators' sites or elsewhere on the internet (including realtor.com)
Answer Yes. The new addendum includes optional paragraphs allowing the seller(s) to choose among the following:
· No property address on internet displays
· No blogging or public comment feature on internet display of the property
· No automatic valuation feature (AVM) on internet display of the property
